A merge between Dream Works Animation and Ibrix Inc. speeds animation efforts. It’s done in order to accelerate high-resolution lighting and rendering applications by up to five times. They’ve accomplished this on recent movie, Kung Fu Panda. As they say in order to compete with great movies, animation movies have to keep up, and cartoons should revive in unsuspected ways.
