On April 29 the so much anticipated updated of XP is going to be launched. It says it offers 10 percent performance boost over XP with SP2. Besides that according Michael Cherry, an analyst with Directions on Microsoft the SP3 will not work faster, will have no new features improving from SP2 but is going to be much closer to what Vista SP1 was.
