Orthotropic shell
Hi all,
I am modelling an orthotropic layered shell.
I wanted to use shell 181 elements, fulfilled the real constants table (orientaion) but then I did not know how to model many layers.
Under the menu section>shell> lay up> add there is the possibility of adding many layers with multiple orienation, but from the results of the analysis I do not think I did it right.
Any help would be the most appreciated, the manual has just confused me more than before.
also I am wondering, in case I was successfull, waht is the best way to read the interply shear strain? How do I plot starins in an arbitrary direction?
Thank you ever so much for you help
