AIM is really fun as they released the newest version 6.5 . First it was a simple banal IM software but now is really interactive. It has many new features which you cannot find at other similar softwares. I like the way they managed the emoticons, in so many shapes and color, categorized so they could be in the same mood as me. If I'm in the X-mas mood I can use the Christmas emoticons or if I'm missing the sea side i can put themed emoticons with background and photos too. Now you can change your status, put Away standard messages, set special alerts for special buddies and group all my IM windows as I don't like them spread around because i can never find them. Now it has new skins but i say they should work on their interface, even though it's new it's poor. I heard something bad about it, about its weakness point: it seems it's not well protected so your computer can be easily infected with worms and so on. As far as i am concerned this didn't happened to me (until now). Anyway i liked AIM but i cannot release my yahoo messenger.
