A.L.A.R.M will do exactly what you expect of it – sound the alarm. It will silently sit in the system tray until you lock your computer. If, at some point, the power should stop, the A.L.A.R.M kicks in, and starts a loud noise that will wake you, or the one that’s touching the power on your computer. It’s not really a big thing, but as the world goes round, you can never be too sure about the computer security. This small software will work only on Windows XP at the moment, but the good parts overcame the bad ones. For example it supports many types of media, including MP3, WAV and MID. Also, it’s really easy to use, with a tiny footprint on your memory or hard drive. And, above everything else, it’s free.
