Altap Salamander, formerly known as Servant Salamander, is a two pane file manager like it's ancient predecessor Norton Commander. It is a tool for manipulating files. It features an open plugin architecture which supports all sorts of archives (zip, rar, iso, etc.) and a viewer for different multimedia formats. Other notable features are an integrated (S)FTP client, a batch rename plugin, comparing of directories and files, and many more.
