I think for most people who work in Linux operating systems, this program is not something unknown. With some incredible development, Apache has succeeded to reach a new secure and stable release (2.2.4), becoming one of the most used HTTP servers from the internet. Some of the new features I can mention are the improvements made on caching system, smart filtering mechanism, and even the size of file support (up to 2 GB now). Another change is on the configuration interface of the Apache server, making it more simple this time and with recathegorised modules.
