What I like the best about Cache is the property of projecting object definitions into relational ones: a class can transform into one or more tables and this way you can use sql query for manipulating data. During this process class methods can become stored procedures. The projection is also available for the opposite transformation: tables become classes, allowing you to use features like encapsulation or business logic to, that in my opinion are very helpful in different situations.
