Automated Continuous Integration server
CruiseControl was for me the Java-based framework for a continuous build process. I used the plugin for email notification, Ant, and various source control tools. The provided web interface was helpful for me to view the details of the current and previous builds. It allowed me to perform a continuous integration of my software development process. The Server automated the integration process by monitoring my source control repository directly, while being used along side with a team of developers. Every time one of us committed a new set of modifications, the server automatically launched an integration build to validate the changes. The suite was helpful, and I've been recommending it since.
