I do a lot of web programming on the Mac, and before Coda I would use different tools for this process: a text editor, an ftp client, and many browser windows (for testing, documentation, etc). Coda integrates most of this in a single, coherent interface, and eliminates a lot of repetitive motion (like uploading modified files, or refreshing the browser window). Since I've been using it, I've been more productive and working has been more fun - its clean, elegant interface is a pleasure to use. There are problems, like bugs and missing features, but it's a 1.0 release, and the Panic guys are working hard to improve the program, releasing update after update.
