CorneliOS is designed to be a modular multi-user operating system, the most recent release running on top of BSD/UNIX operating systems such as Linux or Mac OS X for example, which are named "host OS". Unfortunately, most of the software is still in a very early alpha stage, meaning that some system elements are not disabled at the moment, this including the web desktop, which, in part, should be the most attractive part of the system. The CorneliOS website is still in dire need of community support, but hopefully it will change if more feature are made available.
