DevGuy-Programmers--Canvas-Toolkit
Belive it or not, but with the DevGuy Programmers' Canvas Toolkit I was able to automate the build process in a matter of days. The main help to achieve this was the fact that the Programmers' Canvas Toolkit consists of many scripts packaged into easy to use and understand modules. One of them was the “Build Robot”, which was part of a larger package, that also contained the following: the Packager, dgscript, many of the FileTools, and all ComUtils (along with all the source code). It works on most Windows 2000 Server or NT4, and on Unix because of the Perl script implementation. Although the toolset has many built-in features to support Visual C++ projects, it will build anything as long as there is a makefile or command-line program for it.
