Description

Active Data Online Discussion Board is discussion board software designed for Microsoft asp.net 2.0. Amongst the most important system requirements are an asp.net 2.0 capable Web server that has Microsoft ajax extensions, a database, a SMTP email server, and also a Microsoft SQL Server/Access, Oracle or a MySQL server.

System requirements

• An intranet or Internet domain
• Internet Server with Microsoft .net framework version 2.0/3.0 installed and asp.net ajax extensions version 1.0
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, Oracle 10g Release 10.2, MySQL 5.0, PostgreSQL 8.2, or Microsoft Access (.MDB file provided)
• SMTP email server
• Web browsers: Internet Explorer, Opera, or FireFox

• The admin can add, modify and remove text in the help file beacause it is an XML file
• The board can integrate into an ASP.NET website because the files, application settings, and session objects are being marked with an application identifier (DB_)
