Free BSD on steroids?
Specially aimed to be "the logical continuation of the FreeBSD 4.x series", DragonFly is still being developed in an entirely different direction from FreeBSD 5, and by that I mean that it is including a new Light Weight Kernel Threads (LWKT) implementation and a light weight ports/messaging system. Most of the concepts behind the DragonFly were inspired by AmigaOS.
