I never did feel that anyone was watching behind my shoulder, inside my monitor – shoulder-surfing. But, there are devices that will pick up radiation from your monitor, and there are tools that will interpret the received information, thus recreating data. I don’t think this tool can be useful in any way, except if you’re James Bond. Eckbox will do what I stated before, meaning it will interpret the data. Unfortunately, it has a limited functionality, and will support input from a Eck Phreaking device. The tool will recreate the image that is displayed on the monitor, solely from the radiation emitted by it. Quite useless in day to day application, but I’m sure that it can work wonders in a university research project.
