It is developed by Oregon-based pMachine, Inc. ExpressionEngine. It is a both paid – in order to receive a license and dedicated support, or a free product -ExpressionEngine Core version is available that offers the characteristics blogging system.
System requirements

- PHP version 4.1 or higher with XML support
- MySQL version 3.23.32
- A web server that supports one of the three image manipulation protocols: GD, ImageMagick, NetPBM.
