When I needed to install a firewall on a server, I couldn’t find anything that could suit me best, when it came from remote administrating it. That’s when I discovered FreePFW, which could allow me to access the server remotely, using a connection from a dynamic IP address. The web interface wasn’t exactly something to enjoy, but it did its job, and I didn’t need anything else.
