I am not objective as I am the author of GCompris. Anyway, I can give you some missing features, note that as a free software, development continues and we will fix these one day. * Functionality: there is more than 100 activities. Usually software in this category are limited to about 20. * Usability: Instructions have to be read and small children need some help. Other than that, it's good to have a parent or teacher to provide some explanation and help the children go further. * Scalability: GCompris includes an administration module that let teachers customize it to their needs. * Documentation: There are inline documentations and a community wiki. * Adoption & Community: GCompris is included in most GNU/Linux distribution and used in classrooms all over the world.
