Working with SU, I felt at numerous points the need to administrate it with a visual interface. Searching the internet, I found a library that allowed me to create a visual frontend for SU. The library is called GKSu, and worked wonders – allowed me to create a login shell, with menus and also supporting other software’s need to ask the user a password. GKSu was an interesting experience, and also easy to install and understand.
