Do you Google? Do you Google all the way?
Great versioning tool. The fact that it's web-based is fantastic. It gives you great mobility, since you're able to access your documents from absolutely any computer. Should the storage become unsatisfactory (small chance, but possible), you can always create a new account. All in all, I love this thing, However, there's something unsettling about it. Call me paranoid, but the ideea of saving confidential documents in Google Docs doesn't really help me sleep at night. What if I forget to sign out after using absolutely any computer to acces them? I'm not even going to start with other questions. Still struggleing with that issue. I'll let you know when I'm over it :) .

Feels like I have 8 hands!
Some people gather around a computer when brainstorming about a plan or schedule. I hate that so I always share my documents with my colleagues on Google Docs. I never have to move around from one computer to another just to share an opinion. Google Docs is fast and reliable, all the changes are real time so when composing a document with my co workers I feel like I have 8 hands. And the biggest advantage is that I quickly get rid of all the compatibility issues: I can upload both OpenDocument and Microsoft Office file formats and export pdf.

Good for some things
Don't expect google docs to help you with heavy word processing or financial forecasting: these are lightweight word processors and spreadsheets. Yet when you just need to share a simple document, it works great!
