Google is brilliant in doing things easy. You take the code, you put it in your pages and you start seeing your stats You get visits, unique visits, you know where they come from, you know what they do, you know where they left. And it's all in pretty flash graphs that tell you what you are doing well/ wrong At the beginning of the Analytics i was addicted to it. In the morning before I drank my coffee, numbers was all i cared about, in the evening traffic traffic and at the end of the day, before i went to sleep , i was always happy with the visitors we got When the interface changed, I had some orientation problems, with what to find where (for instance I thought the traffic by hour was no longer monitored) but I emailed good all Google support and they helped me immediately It has all this cool features but it's a free service and it does have its limitations. Because it uses Javascripts, visitors with Javascript enabled won't be tracked at all. Also there are some bugs in the heat map of the page. It won't tell you much, and where users really clicked Besides the Javascript page tagging problem, Google Analytics does in good job in tracking ITerating traffic
