Nice doggy!
The Linux firewall system now has it’s Guarddog. Actually, Guarddog is a firewall configuration utility, that is aimed both for the novice and intermediate users, the ones that are not experts in TCP/IP security or networking. If you don’t want to make a big fuss of it, and dealing with cryptic shell scripts, then Guarddog is the tool for you. I found it easy to use, since it has a neat clean GUI, and unlike other tools, it didn’t require from my behalf to have taken dozens of courses in understanding the ins and outs of IP packets and ports. It took care of everything for me, so it made me quite happy.
