Ikonboard
Ikonboard was easy to implement and try, with extensive support for multilingual users. I could install it in a different language from English, and maintain it for a long period of time. However, once the moderating team was out, and the forum was left floating for a period of time, I discovered that it was extensively spammed, and thus plenty of cleaning had to be done – I decided to remove it, and switch to a more “spam” free solution. However, if you’re going to pay attention to it, you’re certain that it will maintain a good aspect and functionality.
