LilyPond
The LilyPond software was amazing. I used it and enjoyed it, and recommended it to everyone. When composing music, I wanted to have it printed out nicely, with all the features that you would expect from any professional tool. Since I also do a little programming, I found it easy and simple, and it was able to generate professional and pretty looking sheets of complex music, that I could then adapt to different instruments. Great tool, definitely recommended.
