Serious caching up to do!
In the past this service was one of the most popular, but nowadays it has some caching up to do. With Gmail and Yahoo! as competitors, Lycos was left far, far behind. First of all i should say it's got an outdated interface, few storage space, large ads and no virus scanning. Surprisingly enough Lycos has really rich features: filters, spelling checker and can check up to five external POP accounts. As a conclusion Lycos needs improvements fast or it won't be able to hold its position for long.
