Hello,

I use Visio to create site layouts for building projects. I find it much more user friendly than Auto CAD and cheaper than hiring a firm to create drawings for simple additions. However, I can't get the scale of 1" = 25' (or any scale) to actually print to that scale. I am using a printer that prints 17" wide, and my project should fit on the paper at just 1" = 20'. I want it to print at 1" = 25', but last I print it came out to 1" = 20'. What's up?

I think I found the solution myself. I had the print zoom settings set to "Fit to 1x1 sheet" which was altering the size of the drawing. It also helps to set the scale ahead of time, as resizing seems to really mess with wall angles.
