When I discovered that I had plenty of music that was poorly “ripped” from my Audio CD’s, I really needed to have a tool that could construct the ID3 tag for my tracks. The author and track name was consisted in the name of the file, and Mp3dings was able to automate the ID3 construction from it. I was also able to organize all the music into folders, based on artist, album and genre. The tool was easy to understand, but not as easy to use, since it needed a Java Runtime Environment in order to work. Other then that, it did a great job, and it is truly multiplatform.
