I started using it because I needed a faster way to view code in a comfortable manner. It comes in really handy when you're dreamveawer takes ages to load and you just one check out a little detail. The highlited tags almost convinced me to turn in my "BMW" for the "Beetle" :) I decided to keep both :D

By the time I was using windows 98 it came really handy because it had a "find and replace" function and because it could open longer files than regular notepad could. Now that the XP one has all of these built in, I stopped using it, although I kinda miss that red icon :)
