I considered Prismstumbler to be a flexible tool, providing me as much information as possible about the wireless networks is stumbles upon and also a discovery tool, that scans for beacon-frames from access-points for wireless networks (WLAN). I like the fact that it is working on both large PC screens and PDA displays. With the list a qualities mentioned above Prismstumbler is one of the most versatile tools in it’s class, at least that I am aware of. It uses an embedded SQL database to store network information. Great tool, what else can I say.
