My recommendations for starting dating websites are these : start with a highly customizable commercial script and when your website reaches an important number of members and seems to worth investments just find some programmers to code your dream dating website and move your members to the dream site.

Support Scam company sucks
Support sucks. This script can’t hold more than a few people online. I’ve seen sites on dedicated servers with 1gb ram plus with an average of 50 people online makes it very very laggy.

Hi, my name is Tim and I have been researching the majors in the game: phpFox, AbleDating and Dolphin over the past two months, as I'm interested in launching a Casino Social Network here in LV. I've read good reviews, I've read bad ones, for each dating script out there. I'm at a loss. First of all, I have seen no names, no order references or whatever they got there, I have called both BoonEx and ABK-Soft a couple of times to ask who these people were and if I could have their contact details or something. Both refused, for some reason (non-disclosure agreements or something, BTW BoonEx replied only within 8 (huh?!) skypecall attempts). Anyways, I'd be more than glad to talk to any one of you over the phone both those complaining against and those standing for Able, Dolphin, Ska or anything else. I'm still open-minded to the existance severe competition, these script dev guys are trying to bite each others heads off and stuff... AbleSpace does look promising, and the people I've spoken to from http://www.abledatingreview.com do seem credible... BoonEx is also somewhat attractive, but then again you have both AbleDating and Boonex, with its own spam topics (http://www.allaboutdatingsites.com/m...s&threadid=109, just look up boonex scam in Google and abledating scam), who can I believe? BoonEx, PHPFox and ABK have portfolios, but ABK does beat it - http://www.abledatingsites.com), and ABK (since this thread is all about ABK's software) seems to have their own Design Department (i like this one really much: http://www.abledating-designs.com/?level=picture&id=173), unless that is fake or something, can't be sure these days .. Anyone who has closely dealt with any of the scripts mentioned above, would you be so kind as to mail me at fostertim@rocketmail.com anytime, I'd like to discuss the problems you've had, if you don't mind, of course. I'm due to launch my portal at the beginning of 2009, so I'm really going through all the pain to check each and every spot online before acutally buying one of the scripts, because I can't afford losing money... Please contribute as much as you can, cuz I'm at a loss, I need all the info about any of the scripts (not only PHP, ASP aswell if they are better). I've done tons of Google Searches and have some great info, but it's all of an unknown origin, I need first hand contributions here - please! Thank you!
