You get what you pay for
Many mainstream features, like SFTP support, are simply not available. The interface is also cumbersome and difficult to get used to.

Usefull
If all you need is to copy file to/from a FTP server SmartFtp will do the job just fine. It has a clean user interface and it is easy to use, although it's annoying that it reminds you that it is not free for commercial use. Some features: Favorites list; the ability to resume broken downloads; a global history; background transfers; proxy support; a passive transfer mode; and the ability to perform recursive downloads, uploads, and deletes.

Useful but not free for commercial use
I have used this software and besides the fact that it sometimes fails to download large files or folders that contain many files, I have nothing to say against it. Please note that this software is not free to use for commercial purposes, also the free version has reminders in which you are asked to purchase the license.

bad http link
It's very useful if you need a free ftp client but it failed me from time to time when providing the correct http lURL for files. Besides that, it's a fast and easy to use product.
