If you are the type that likes to get into the details here’s something for you: a little program that is using XML-based language. As for me, I found it interesting because with this program I can take actions on a particular resource. Here’s how it works: it submits a query to the entity (called Policy Enforcement Point or shortly PEP) protecting the resource let’s say a file server. Than the entity will form a request by using XACML request language and the answer is returned to the PEP, which will either allow or deny the access to the resource. An interesting tool, if you want to have a back and forth, answer and question, security system.
