copying a CVS checkout to a different machine
I made a check out in my old machine and made a number of changes, but did not check in. recently I had to shift to another system. So i copied all my work to the new machine, but wen I give a CVS update using tortoise CVS, it does not recognize any of the folders within the dir. But my folders contain the CVS directory and all the folders are indicated as CVS directories(shown in green color symbol). How do I make an update now. I get the message "nothing known about ..." and the console shows the status as operation complete
