“humanity for others” that what Ubuntu is all about. 6.10 or edgy continued to amaze me –it was a breeze to upgrade from 6.06. I like the “Upstart” init daemon because it makes the system boot faster. Both Evolution and Firefox have been upgraded. The desktop graphics are improved but pretty much the same. I expected much more efforts for the 3D effects (everybody’s having them) but it seems that Ubuntu didn’t care bout them at all. Still, the brownish color is not trying to reproduce any Windows theme. I’m happy that as with 6.06, I had no problems with hardware recognitions. Unfortunately, like it happens to any Linux distribution, I couldn’t make the driver for the wireless work
