I just switched to Vista a few days ago and I'm already disappointed. At first I was really impressed with Vista's new user interface: nice colors, round corners, transparency. But once I unplugged my laptop... Surprise! The battery life is 50% down compared with Windows XP. Even with all additional hardware disabled (Bluetooh, WLAN, mouse etc) and the brightness at minimum, I still see poor results. So I'm seriously thinking of downgrading, after all, if battery power wouldn't be important I would use a desktop :-)
