A tool that is most useful, and unfortunately only good for, designing a GUI. The tool was written in Python with the popular wxPython toolkit. The inspiration was Glad, the tool that created the GTK+ and Gnome GUI. The philosophy behind wxGlade was taken from Glade, as we can clearly see from the name. One of the main drawbacks of this fancy little tool is that you cannot build a complete IDE with it, and as I said before, only the GUI of an application.
