I used XMB Bulletin board because of it’s ease. I have to say, it only requested a MySQL database, or access to one, and you’d be set. Interesting features, with main forums, or subforums, and also supported multiple themes for user. I have been able to create and maintain my very own community, and it’s been sustained by XMB ever since. I’d give it a 9 out of 10 though, since you have to be careful about spam, and blocking users. I, for one, couldn’t find a way to filter real users from spammers.
