Description

YetAnotherForum is designed to provide a discussion board to web sites created with ASP.Net. The open source C# code is enabling the web administrator to fully manipulate the design and aspects of the forum page. The software is released under the GPL license.

System requirements

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
  • ASP.NET programming language
  • PHP 4.1.0 or higher

Features

Administrator Features

    • The Administrator can send mass email to users or specific user groups
    • Move topics to other forums;
    • Emoticon support;
    • The administrator can create multiple boards that can be accessed only by authorized users or user groups;
    • By using themes the admin can change the forum design;

    • "Rich Text Editors" such as FreeTextBox and FCKEditor are supported

User Features

    • The user can set dates and numbers according to his/her's preferences
    • Registered users can set a regional time zone
    • Private messaging
    • Polls can be added to posts;
    • Active topics and users list;
    • Printer friendly topics
    • E-mail topics;
    • Subscriptions can be deleted from the user control panel;
    • Password change or recovered by using the User Control Panel

Security Features

    • The possibility to ban IP’s from writing or accessing the forum;
