Ettercap - network testing tool
Ettercap will provide support for testing “man in the middle” attacks within a network. Among the interesting features that I used was the live connection sniffing, which pointed out the lack of firewall security. Also I was able to investigate whether there were any ciphered protocols, which at some point I was able to examine. Many network insecurities were pointed out with the use of Ettercap, thus reinforcing the System Administrators need for better control and thorough examination.
