Harbour, as the title has it, is a cross platform compiler and is known to compile and run on MS-DOS, MS-Windows, OS/2, GNU/Linux and Mac OSX. The main idea of Harbour is to improve other Clipper compilers, by the fact that it is a free software. Harbour also attempts to remove, and by some points has done at least as much, some of the limits imposed by the base implementation but the extent of this will depend on your chosen platform.
