iTunes was released for the first time on January 10th, 2001 by Apple Software at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco. iTunes is a media player that's also used for managing files on your iPod. Users that have an Internet connection can easily connect to the iTunes Store and download tracks, music videos, TV shows, iPod games, ebooks and much more.
iTunes runs on Mac OS X, Windows Vista and Windows XP and can be downloaded on the Apple homepage.
