mini, but good
I chose this software cause i was amused by its name (miniBB stands fro mini Bulletin Board). But in the end it turned out to be a pretty darn good tool. It's free, written in PHP and most importantly it provides the necessary instruments to quickly build a simple and yet attractive discussion board. It is also a good content management system, it has RSS feeds addon and also it allows private messages. Future improvements are still to be added. It may seem a little limited, but it does it's job just right!
