Here am I trying to find a replacement for Photoshop, a easier software, with not so many features, because after all I don’t use them all. And also I wanted to find something different of fotoflexer. I always want to edit some of my pictures, to add some graphical extra, to surprise the loved ones with something special and original without searching hours and hours for the right feature. Finally I’ve found OpenCanvas. I have tried others, but so far this is the best (I’m not saying is the best ever, I wanted something more). So I managed to check out the feature I was searching for a long time: Threshold – changing the image in black and white, not so clear though. Also found polar edges and emboss and Color halftone were something usual. The thing I liked the most is that you can adjust the diameter for each modification, colors, area. Also it has a magnifier in the right corner of the window were you can see in detail the part were your mouse stands. (on the picture of course). The software saves the picture like *.oci but you can easily change it into *.bmp, *.jpeg, *.png.
