Simple users have access to various super-user commands
Sounds great, isn’t it? The first things I learned about Sodu is that it allows you to create a permitted user to run a specific command, just like the super-user. This is useful if you want to limit the access to the simple user, but still allow some commands that you feel that won’t harm the system. It is not so easy to understand for the novice, by the fact that you will need to specify the allowed commands in an external sudoers file. Sodu will thus determine who is authorized and who is nut, and if given the -v flag, a user will be able to update the time stamp without running a command. The password prompt itself will also time out if the user's password is not entered within 5 minutes (unless overridden via sudoers). The tool does it’s job, and that’s more then I can actually say about it.
