Description

VBulletin is a fast and stable forum solution, written in PHP. It is uses the MySQL database. It is designed for any community size and it is translated in German, Chinese and Hungarian. A cross platform product, vBulletin can run on Windows, Solaris, Linux, Mac and BSD.

System requirements

Minimum System Requirement

  • PHP version 4.3.3v or higher
  • MySQL version 4.0.16v or higher
  • Internet explorer

Recommended System Requirements

  • PHP version 4.4.2 or 5.1.2 or later
  • MySQL version 5.0.19 or later

User requirements

  • web space on which the PHP scripts and images of vBulletin will be stored
  • MySQL space (the database space) - the space allocated for the MySQL database will have to be enough. This space is dependant of the forum size, the amount of data stored in the database (avatar size, attachments), number of forum members, number of posts and many other factors.
